In 2026, Fiorentina celebrates 100 years of history, passion, identity and pride. This official volume retraces the journey of a unique Club, founded on 29 August 1926, through extraordinary photographs and unforgettable stories.

From the club’s first matches at the Via Bellini ground to the magical nights of its league titles; from immortal champions such as Julinho, Hamrin, Antognoni, Baggio and Batistuta to more recent protagonists and, ultimately, the Viola Park: a century of football and life, told with passion both on and off the pitch.

This prestigious volume offers a comprehensive look at a century of challenges and emotions. It celebrates the champions and victories that have made Florence a capital of football, while also telling the story of the pride of being a Viola supporter — a passion passed down from generation to generation.

The Author

Giovanni Sardelli was born in Florence on 3 February 1979. He developed a passion for journalism from a young age, beginning his career in 2001 by contributing to Calciopiù.

In 2006, he became an editor at Violanews.com and an editor and correspondent for Radio Blu. In 2008, he joined La Repubblica, and in 2009 he moved to La Gazzetta dello Sport, where he remained for 14 years before returning to La Repubblica in 2024.

Since 2015, he has worked as an editor, presenter and correspondent for Radio Bruno Firenze. During the 2024/2025 season, he covered Fiorentina for DAZN, and since 2023 he has also been a football commentator and pundit for RTV38.
