Diario di un trapezista

Director : Sigfrido Ranucci

Cast : Sigfrido Ranucci

Durata : 02:00

Diario di un trapezista (Diary of A Trapeze Artist) is a theatrical presentation that reveals a secret side to Sigfrido Ranucci, parallel to the one you are used to seeing on television, who, in order to carry out his investigations, had to make choices, even in a matter of seconds, that have forever changed his life. I have learned that it is not so much a person's qualities that define their destiny, but their choices. Even the ones they don't make. There are people who, with their presence and their choices, while remaining in the shadows, have been instrumental in the realisation of my investigations, people who seem to have come out of a novel.

There is a vagabond who helps me achieve the most important international scoop in the history of Rai, the one on the bombing of Falluja, where the United States used the chemical agent white phosphorus. Then there is a taxi driver who helps me find Tanzi's art gallery, dozens of masterpieces worth millions of euros that had escaped the investigations of two public prosecutors and the world's most important international investigation agency, Krol.

A Swiss producer who spends sleepless nights saving toads, and who saved me from the trap set by a politician who had me spied on to block my investigation into his administration and destroy my career. There is a deputy headmistress of a school who helped me carry out an investigation into arms trafficking and a robber from Puglia who witnessed the mafia's order to kill me. Then there is the teacher who filmed the mysterious meeting between Senator Matteo Renzi and former 007 Marco Mancini in a motorway service station. Finally, there is Lavinia, a bodyguard who helped me foil the plan of some politicians to replace me as host of #Report. I have come to believe that all the people I have met in my life had a purpose, and those who left did so because they had fulfilled that purpose. They all took a piece of me with them and taught me something, some even taught me not to be like them.
