Giunti Odeon is set to release Naza, the film event that made its mark at the latest Venice Film Festival, where it won the Special Jury Prize. At night, on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, recordings are made of anonymous testimonies from intelligence operatives and members of the Israeli army who, since 2023, have taken part in the systematic spying on, surveillance of and killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor (two of the four co-directors of the 2025 Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land) and produced by The Guardian and the Israeli-Palestinian publications +972 Magazine and Local Call, the documentary details the technologies – from wiretapping and hacking to artificial intelligence – used to monitor the population and how they directly support a long-running campaign of bombings, drone strikes and sniper attacks that have resulted in tens of thousands of deaths across the West Bank in recent years.
