Giunti Odeon is releasing the fifth and highly anticipated installment of the Pixar saga that revolutionized contemporary animated cinema: Toy Story 5. Jessie is terrified that her little girl, Bonnie, will abandon her just as her beloved Jennifer and then Andy did in the past, because when children grow up, they set aside the toys they had “when they were little.” But now a new, unexpected rival has emerged: technology, which, through countless devices, steals time from young children and prevents them from continuing to play in the real world. The era of toys thus seems to have truly come to an end, and Jessie’s friends—from Rex to Dollie, from Slinky Dog to Mr. and Mrs. Potato—fear an imminent fate of extinction. When Bonnie’s parents give her a tablet, Jessie feels lost and asks for help from Woody and Buzz, as well as all her other longtime friends, starting with her trusty steed Bullseye. Meanwhile, dozens of Buzz Lightyears emerge from a shipping container and recognize Jessie and her sheriff’s star as the galactic command they are destined to encounter.
